  1. Skating For Skills 2010

    Application deadline: Monday, January 25, 2010.

    Application Correction: Free Skate 1–6 compulsory programs will be skated on FULL ICE on the recreation ice rink. The Skating For Skills Announcement incorrectly reports they are to be skated on ½ ice on the recreation rink.

  2. Grassroots to Champions Seminar at the Kent State Ice Arena

    Save the Date: Kent Skating Club is hosting a Grassroots to Champions (G2C) seminar on May 2nd and we are finalizing the details. More information will be posted soon. Until then, note the date on the calendar to ensure your spot as an active participant in the finest instructive figure skating seminar around!

  3. Ballet for Figure Skaters Class – Spring 2010 Session

    Sarah White is offering Ballet for Figure Skaters at the Kent State Ice Arena.
    Dates: Jan. 8–May 7, 2010.

    If you have not tried out this class in the past please come and do a trial class for only $5. If you decide to sign up, Skater's Advantage can prorate the rest of the classes for you. This class is good for all levels of skating and is a great way to improve strength, flexibility and artistry.

  4. Easy Fundraising for Kent Skating Club

    NEW WAYS TO FUNDRAISE: GoodSearch & GoodShop

    Kent Skating Club is now listed as a charitable organization on GoodSearch. Use this link to GoodSearch and help the club while surfing the web. GoodSearch is powered by Yahoo! and works the same as any other search engine; However, when using GoodSearch and designating the Kent Skating Club as the recipient charitable organization, KSC receives a 50% donation of the search engine usage revenues! As an added benefit, Kent Skating Club is also registered with GoodShop, a shopping portal similar to YellowBrickMall, and a sister site to GoodSearch.   5. Ice Payments

    Ice payments are due on the 15th of every month. Please submit ice payments to Stephanie Collins, Administrator of the Kent Skating Club. Kent Skating Club accepts ice payments either by placing them in Stephanie's mailbox at the KSU Ice Arena or by handing them to the "Club Ice" Monitor (stationed rinkside) on days we have "Club Ice" sessions.
