  • The registration process for the Malley's Holidays 2009 fundraising campaign can be confusing. Here is a deatiled walk through of registering with Malley's to allieviate any confusion:

    First, go to the Malley's Chocolates account registration page (link takes you to Maley's registration page: http://register.malleys.com).

    REGISTRATION – You are presented with an account login screen. If you do not have an account yet, click the "Register" link to create a new account. Enter your name, physical address, email address, and create a password. Click the "Register" button to create (i.e. register) your account.

    MY ACCOUNT – Next, you will be shown the "My Account" page giving two options: Campaigns, and Participant Information. Choose the Campaigns option to associate your account with the “Kent Skating Club – Holidays 2009” campaign.

    MY ACCOUNT – Campaigns – On the "My Account – Campaigns" page, click the "Enroll in Campaign" button.

    MY ACCOUNT – Enroll In Campaign – Now you are at the "My Account – Enroll in Campaign" page, where you will enter in the Kent Skating Club "Organization ID" (which is 40086) and click the "Continue" button. This keeps you on the same page as before, but there is a further option to select a particular campaign for the organization from a drop down list (for now, KSC has only one campaign—Holidays 2009—so its not much of a choice), select "Holidays 2009" and click the "Continue" button once more.

    MY ACCOUNT – Campaign Update – You will now find yourself at the "My Account – Campaign Update" page where you enter in optional information to tailor the personalized webpage on Malley's site to make it your own flavor, at least somewhat personalized. What this means is that Malley's website will host a personalized webpage for you to use as a selling point for all your future customers (friends, relatives, co–workers, etc…). Personalizing your webpage consists of adding in an About Us Page Message, creating a unique URL for your page (http://www.malleys.com/XXXX.aspx, where XXXX [actually a blank box to fill–in] is replaced with a page name you choose to use for directing people to your personal Malley's fundraising site), a picture to place in the upper left corner of the personalized page you create (the dimensions of the picture have to be kept to no more than 192 pixels wide by 107 pixels high and no more than 20 K file size—there are a few Kent Skating Club logo pictures provided in the Downloads section of this fundraising entry if you don't have an alternative picture to use), and a checkbox labelled "Email me a link to my friendly URL" (this checkbox is where you request the email link mentioned in the Malley's Holiday Candy Sale explanation on the 'Fundraising & Volunteering' page). After entering this information (remember, this last page of details is optional—aside from entering a unique page name for the URL), click the "Submit" button.

    PARTICIPANT ENROLL COMPLETE – If all goes well, you will be presented with the "Participant Enroll Complete" webpage. To try out your new personalized Malley's website selling page, just enter into the browser's URL address bar the website address you created during registration. If you need to make any adjustments, login to your account and use the "Campaigns" option on the "My Account" page to edit the campaign information. Good luck and happy selling!
