"Why I like to coach"

Skating is a life long sport that is great for all ages. 

It brings together people interested in sport and the community of the skating world.

The sport teaches many life lessons beyond the ice surface such as goal setting, patience, perseverance, and benefits of a good work ethic.

It also enhances a healthy lifestyle that the skater will benefit from for their entire life.

Coaching gives me the opportunity to work with skaters to help them achieve their goals.  I find it very rewarding to help skaters attain skills and enjoy their sport.

I love skating and have been involved with the sport for over 30yrs.

My husband, Tom, and I are RNs and both work in the hospital setting.

I have two daughters, Caitlin and Kelsey, who are in high school.

We have a dog named Sugar who loves us all no matter what!

My hobbies include reading, walking, downhill skiing, enjoying the beach, and exploring different parts of our country and visiting family!
